Sundews and Pitcher browning/reddening
Hello there,
I ordered a couple of sundew plants and a pitcher plent off of the internet a while ago. They arrived just fine. I left them out in the sun for a day, and since then, the sundews (capensis and graminifolia) have either become deep red and stopped producing dew (graminifolia) or have turned brown at the edges of the dew-producing pads and begun to curl (capensis). The pitcher (judith hindle), on the other hand, shows browning at the tips of the pitchers, with some of the smaller pitchers going completely brown and dead altogether. This is probably due to overexposure to the sun, but is there any way to reverse the damage that's been done? New shoots have been produced by both sundews, which are healthy green and producing dew. THe pitcher has been a bit slower about it, and hasn't produced any new pitchers at all. What can I do?
