I use a kind of Beta fish food called "Beta Bio Gold". I got it at Walmart for about 3 bucks. They are tiny perfectly shaped balls that just drop right in. I also use them for my smaller cephs.

You could also use fruitflies, chill them for a few minutes and then drop them in. They are great for seedling VFTs.

Though, you don't have to feed them when they're that small, they'll just photosynthesize. Because if they're too small, you may wind up just ripping up the plant!

i have fruit flies to feed them, but i am afraid of damaging the litle pitchers (as their so small) if i try to feed them, so maybe ill just leave them alone and toss in some fruit flies. Will the fruit flies naturally crawl into the pitchers or do i need to actually drop them into the pitchers?

I would think they would walk in as you say I mean they have to eat something when there baby's out in the world right so I think your baby's will pull them in with something sweet to lick up b4 they die I know I have some type of lil flying bug with my nepenthes and when I look in them I see a lot of them in there all dead

Play nice taz. You are obviously very knowledgable about carnivorous plants and can answer most, if not all, of everyone's posts thoroughly (including mine). We all really appreciate your dedication, but that doesn't mean you can go aroung bullying people. The first step for all forum members should be to read the instructions which states to do a search before posting. Some just think they are impervious to rules. I'm not bullying anyone. If you haven't read the TOS you shouldn't be posting at all.
