The first is quite good, a one man forest.
The last is a finish at the brewery. Or Picea breweriana?
Between these the country is beautiful. The 2nd photo 1st pine from left seems to have a dense pyramid on above 2-3 meters.

The freeway to the distant mountains picture is awesome.

The arid sand colour of rock and grass with the grey of shadows and scrub such a hallmark combined with blue sky panels or yellow road lines. The nearest feel we get here in England is the Salisbury plain with the chalk and flint wheat-downed openess to distant atmospherically blued and purpled ridges.

Please keep shooting your world beating backyard.

The mesa in the first picture above (also in some of the other pics, and shown below) is like a sky island, with very few conifers.

Here is one of the two ponderosa's I've spotted on the top.

There is only one P. menziesii, but many J. scopulorum.

There are a few springs up there as well. Here is one that has formed a small pond.

The mesa is now a protected park, containing almost 2000 acres.

I recognize I-70 and after that, The Blue River in Breckenridge.
Wonderful bike trails there, although sometimes a bit crowded.
