The stems and leaves remind me of a Tylecodon, Richard. Is it dormant in the summer?

Mine's pictured below, with its leaves just coming out now (I've not likely watered it enough last month).

I just picked this one up yesterday with three others,
it appears to be in pure peat. I noticed yours appears to be growing in boulders. would it loose all its leaves if I pot it in
gritty mix now. all my plants are grown indoors.

Richard, that's just top dressing, rough as it is - the soil is below. No, it shouldn't lose it leaves from a repotting (few succulent plants do). Do be careful, as all Tylecodons are poisonous (assuming it is a T) - some more than others.
