Seedpod, I expect most folks are nose down in the cutting garden and too busy to answer. I have not grown reseda and so I am coming at this with the idea that other hollow fleshy plants usually benefit from having their stems plugged with a piece of cotton or other absorbent material to keep the water in the stem. Like I said, though, I am not an expert. Try to keep your feet dry:) Kat

Hi Kat, thanks for your input.Yes, I too thought that they might need filling and plugging (perish the thought) however putting them in warm water and putting in the dark seems to work.If you dont put em in the dark they wander towards the light.I cover them with a piece of black polythene against the wall.They looked lovely with white snapdragons,alchemilla and spikes of teucrium hircanicum.
