Groundcover for filling 6' gaps in driveway?

Hi! Visiting from SFG and Winter Sowing forums...

My driveway has three 6" gaps. They are about 10', 10' and 15' long. They were designed to allow more water to be absorbed into the ground. What's a good groundcover to plant? The cars aren't parked over these spots, usually. Part sun. Water does gather in some parts of these gaps. Max height would probably be 8". Two inches would be much prettier, and bring it even with the cement driveway.

I have dichondra seed. But I'd love your opinions. Thanks in advance.
