Any good taller ornamental grasses for semi-shade

and NOT the best soil, kind of sandy and not too rich??? Sea Oats actually does well in this area, although it tends to stay shorter than it does in better soil areas in my yard.

I would like to use ornamental grasses in combination with some trellised vines and shrubs to create a barrier along a recently installed pedestrian pathway.

Anthing that will grow taller than sea oats, something in say the 3 to 8 foot range, that will do well in those conditions?

I have tried Miscanthus in similar conditions and they fare poorly.
