Will Crown of Thorns plants grow on Molokai?

I would appreciate any opinions if this plant that I saw on Zenfolio photo site http://patrickmcnally.zenfolio.com/hawaii-maui-13 would grow well on Molokai. I have seen this on Maui, both near the ocean and near Haleakala. But Maui may have more rainfall than Molokai. If you think it might thrive on Molokai, any special care tips?

Thank You, Alicia Acconcio, Molokai

one of my books says it has "good drought, salt, and wind tolerance"

It's a euphorbia, I've always found those hard to kill.

That euphorbia does very well in hot and dry conditions.

I live on Kauai and a lot of people (locals, especially) have this plant in their yards, often in pots.
I think it's very draught tolerant and will grow an any side of the island.
I'm sure you will have luck with it on Molokai.
It grows from cuttings, btw, so ask a neighbor who has some about it.
