Donnas, Oh! I can tell you I lost track of time watching..I even hate to admit my house looked like a train wreck..I got so involved..as this was the first time for me that I ever had a feeder and even had humming birds..at first I thought they were a bug flying by so quickly...and gasped when I actually got to watch the whole parade..I think I talked about humming birds to my friends and they thought I lost my mind..I mean ..Me..but ya know the more I watched..(won't talk about housework or cooking) the more I got intrigued and started reading as much as I could...but wait..you want to check out the videos on these darlings... I mean to tell you...

I had to ask, "How much nectar do you make" LOL but I know it's really worth it...

barbzee...people who don't watch these little birds don't know what they're missing!! I've been feeding them for several years now. I was getting so impatient waiting for them as I thought they would have gotten here a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they have been here all this time and I've just missed them. The one I have I'm not sure if it's an immature or a female. I do know it didn't have the red throat. I really didn't look at him too good...I was too excited just to see him at the feeder LOL

I now know I have at least 2 hummers, a male and a female. I am soooooo excited!!!

Congratulations Donnas. Your humming bird season has begun, you have months of fun to look forward to.
I think all of us look forward to that first sighting in the spring. I was so surprised this year because they were a week early.
