Just Beautiful! I love the fall colors almost as much as the summer colors.....

Thanks Donna! I love the fall colors too. Hate the having to cover them part... might be moving to Central Florida so yay, no more covering! And Yes, I am taking my baby's with me. At least the ES as it was my first love (plant wise).

Ivysmom, each one is a single plant. The ES is a year 1/2 old, planted last Spring. I did winter protect even though it is a rebloomer and was rewarded with tons of flowers! The BB were planted last LATE fall. And my Annabell and new ES (not shown here) were planted this spring.

They are so beautiful. I also fell in love with my ES this year. I have one with the dark pink flowers and another 2 still have new blooms on them (with a few old flowers lime green and dark pink). It is so interesting to see these multiple colors in one plant. I think the unusual warm Aug/Sept weather here helps too.

My limelights (planted in early August)are just as beatiful, with light pink, lime green and white all one plant. The pinkish tint is so subtle and delicate and the flowers have the light sweet fragrance. Other people told me they did not experience these smell. But both of my LL have them and so wonderful.

Vivian, I just bought a Limelight yesterday! I had been drooling over it for years and was able to use a coupon to get a two gallon one for $15. Although, I'm not sure where I am going to plant it yet. I hope that mine smells like yours.

Melaroma, That is great news. And early fall is a very good time to plant LL. One thing I learned from this forum and from one of my neighbors (who had 3 LL in the front) is that they do grow tall and wide. So you may want to leave enough space for them.
