Hey, I really got a kick out the "cactus and succulent" group. I confess, I am not wildly interested in this group of plants. But I am a compulsive people observer and really a social science geek at heart. What a great variety of ages, interests, backgrounds. Nice balance of men and women too.

I was impressed that the pres is a young, enthusiastic woman. With a younger leadership the group will keep going.Good also that computer, data bases, networking is being used; that's also attractive to a lot of people But I did not get any sense at all that folks who don't use computers are out of the loop.

Thanks for the offer of the amays. but I got the common ones at stop and shop before xmas. For now, six is enough. Really.I have more than enough to keep me busy with re potting and fretting over my orchids.
