I went there one year ago and it was certainly worth the visit.
Make sure to take your camera and something to write on, as they are very good about labeling each iris. It helped me choose which ones to order from other vendors...

The gardens were vandalized last year right around this time of year. The vandals came in a ripped out quite a number of their plants including several "heirloom" types. I know that they are rebuilding the garden.

Leslie, I do remember the vandalism and could never in a million years fathom why anyone would destroy a garden.

For all the good in this world, there's way too much evil.......and stupidity.

I know that naming and id'ing many of the ones that they salvaged was nearly impossible.

Somehow I missed that story. How pathetic.
