We tripped over these postings and I need to clarify that the Paseo event is not until Memorial Day weekend. Wild Things Nursery will be there for three days, May 24th, 25th and 26th.

I don't know if we'll still have some Monarch chrysalis's by then, most will have flown, but we should have a number of other species to show off.

Ken - oh, yeah! I mention you a lot! Thanks for coming in to correct the date. Glad you are bringing the cats and chrysalis's so folks can actually see a part of a butterfly metamorphosis. My little mexican agastache is blooming right now!

I'm glad it's Memorial Day weekend cuz it's payday for me and I really want to get an Amorpha canescens. Tell Marilyn I ordered some Asclepias purpurescens (purple milkweed) plants, and when they bloom I'll save some seeds for her. It is native to Oklahoma as well. They can also grow in partial shade unlike most milkweed.

I'm coming to OKC this weekend. I'll be bringing you some plants. I was wondering if I come early, would you want to go by the Paseo Arts Festival? If I leave here at 7, I can be to your house just before 9, and we can go downtown to the festival. I have no idea where the festival is. I wouldn't want to stay very long, just long enough to see Marilyn, Ken, and Linda. I'd need to be at Mom's by 11:30.

Wellllllll, I asked my daughter to go and I think we're going on Sunday.....darn it. The Paseo district is not very far from my house, so it's not downtown. It's around the 30th and Shartel area.

I have your A. purpurescens for you. Was there anything else you wanted?
