I've grown Shishito's for a couple years. Not a real hardy plant, does not like to be over watered. The peppers are very mild and good tasting. Walls are very thin and the pepper is full of seeds. An excellent pepper for the "pepper whimps".

I've grown pepperoncini...just grow them like any other pepper.

I grew Shishito and Padron.....(No "e")....earlier this year

I used a 511 mix in 3 gallon (kitty litter) buckets......they grew fast providing the first peppers this spring.......

I'm not a fan of their "bell pepper" taste so I sent the healthy plants on to garden friends......

I like both Pepperoncini and Shishito to snack on , in salad, salsa when very tender and small. And make pickle with mature ones. Never seen/eaten Padron, tho.

Few days ago I bough a couple of ponds of Shishito from Asian market. I kept some that have turned red and pickled the rest.

I grew Shishito for the first time this year. I grew in a 5 gallon bucket and it did great.

I grow a variety of pepperone's and haven't found one I don't like.

I have grown pardon for a good 10 years now. Love to sauté them with some onion and garlic.....

I have seeds to shishito, and it's on my 2014 grow
list for sure..I ordered padron from johnny's seeds
years ago, but gave them all away and left none for
myself...Lately I've been seeing some cooking shows
and they were stir frying pardon's..Now I want to give
them a try.
I also bought some pepperocini seedlings last year. I
grew them in an earth box and they exploded with peppers.

I grew pepperoncini for the first time this year - the Stavros variety. I also found them quite productive, with a pleasant amount of zing.
