watermelon

this is the first time i have ever grown watermelons. the plants are growing and setting fruit like crazy....but on at least 6 of the fruit on the blossom end they are turning black and rotting up the entire length of fruit. they are being watered regularly. any thoughts?

Are the elevated off the ground? Do they have grubs?

This is common for some of the early fruits and usually indicates pollination problems. You got bees?

Blossom end rot calcium problem you need lime soil, Calcium spray just before fruit set works. On Tomatoes works as well.
