We are just itching to see bluebonnet/Indian paintbrush in their glorious beauty.

Which is the best route to take? Any recommendations?

We will be coming from Beaumont.

The best ones we have ever seen are in the Brenham area in Washington County. This year is not supposed to be so great anywhere due to the lack of fall rain. There are several websites that show different routes you can take.

Last year I took some gorgeous pics right off I-35 by Dell. I passed by there this morning, and the field that last year was completely blue was bereft of flowers today. so sad. Anyone seen any good patches around Round Rock/CP/Georgetown?
