They look great!!! It's too bad they didn't work out for the grandmother, but lucky for you that you got them. They are among my very favorite plants for summer color. They bloom best for me in 2 to 3 gallon pots in full blazing all day summer sun, but have to be watered almost every day. I fertize them regularly too.

I agree. They look great. I have had one in the ground (right against a wall of the house) for 3 years now and 3 in pots. The one in the ground blooms from mid summer to fall, the ones in pots bloom earlier but need more attention. All need frequent fertilization.

Thanks guys! I'll keep in mind the frequent fert schedule. I would like to try one in the ground, but I would have to hire a contractor to get through the rock! Since they are doing well right were they are, and that just happens to be where we are going to put beds in, I think I'm going to move them to some decorative pots and put them on an upside down clay pot to get them more vertical. Of course, will post pics when we get it done.
