Pillbugs and millipedes taking over!

We have a big deck instead of concrete back porch/patio and it always has them on it. They are also getting in the house and it's really getting to me. Is DE good to control them? I could sift some between the boards if it works.

I used Ortho Home Defense end hose sprayer around the house perimeter because there were so many of them. Pretty much wiped them out.

I used the same thing in a hand sprayer, and it slowed them, but didn't stop them. Today I noticed them all over the side of the house (outside) and on the deck.

Someone told me to spray with hydrogen peroxide. I have not tried it yet.

End hose sprayer seemed to work better (and a lot faster) than pump hand sprayer. Maybe it was just the extra water that got watered deeper down into the soil along the foundation. After all the cold weather, I suppose it won't be much of a problem till Spring.

No problem now. I'll try to remember to spray in the spring before they have a chance to get established.

They seem to love mulch and are considered really great compost buddies, is this a mulched area around your deck?
