Does anyone have a setup with a delta diverter and two shower heads?

In our previous home, we had a shower that had one fixed shower head with its own dedicated 1/2" (I think) line and valve, and on the other side, a hand-held shower and 3 shower sprays on the same line with a diverter ---- that line was 3/4" to handle having both the shower and sprays on at the same time.

I haven't gotten to use our new setup since we still don't have shower pan or walls. But ours has regular head, wand and rain head with 6 setting diverter. The line is 1/2" into shower valve and 3/4" to the fixtures. Again I have no idea how this will or won't work. It's what our plumber decided we needed.

We don't have a Delta diverter but we do have a rainhead and a hand held. We have a single temperature valve and one diverter valve that allows you to use the just the rain shower, just the hand held or both together. There is no loss of pressure what so ever when using the two together. Our valves are Kohler.

If they are typical heads, they're probably 2.5GPM max. Unless your plumbing is completely wonky, it should easily provide 5GPM. So there's really no reason for there to be any significant performance loss with two heads off of one valve.

On the plus side, I plumbed my master bath shower with two supply valves, one for my handheld, the other for the ceiling rainhead. I plumbed it that way because often times with both of them running I'll set them at two different temperatures.
