Need speaker thingie gizmo for iPod...

So, I thought I found a speaker/dock for my iPod until DH pointed out that the wireless one I was looking at doesn't work with a regular iPod. It works with iPhones. Oh, duh. So I forgot about that for a while. Meanwhile, we have a stereo system in the house that hooks into an iPod, satellite radio, and CD player. It's great -- when it works. It's not currently working and my experience with the AV company tells me that they won't get here to fix it within the next two weeks. In two weeks, we are hosting an outdoor graduation party and I want music -- I need something that works with an iPod (old school iPod, not iPhone) and is a decent speaker. Any suggestions?

i have one made from bose that puts out some good sound and is relatively small...

You can buy an adaptor for your older iPod to give it bluetooth capabilities.

I've been using this one for a few years, but only indoors. I like that it runs off A/C so I don't have to worry about battery life and it's non-bluetooth so I don't have to worry about interference or a failed link.

I found this one, which gets very good reviews on a couple of sites. Even when we get our system fixed, I'd use this in our bedroom and/or at our beach house.

We have this one and recommend it to everyone we know, it's awesome. We primarily use it by our pool in the summer but have used it indoors too.

We've used it with batteries when we had to but love that it has a plug option too.

Edit to add: Ooops, sorry. It doesn't work with an iPod. I missed that in your requirements.
