paint and light hardwood

Hi! This is our new bedroom (with the previous owners furniture) and as you can see the hardwood is very light.

Our furniture is Alexander Julian and close to this company's current "American Heritage" line.

I have never had a home with this light hardwood and I am looking for paint colour suggestions.

We prefer a uncomplicated, masculine look.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

I think you want to post this in the Discussions area, if you want it to get attention. This is the gallery. Close this thread and go to the top of the list of threads on the right and you'll see the link to click for Discussions and for Conversation. When you're on one of those boards you'll see the link for this Gallery too. :)
