Floor covering for flagstone porch

We have an enclosed, unheated porch with a flagstone floor. It is the most-used entrance to our house. Whenever it rains or is humid, we get condensation on the flagstones and they feel unpleasantly damp. I'd like to cover at least part of it with an area rug. What type of covering would be most comfortable to the feet and still hold up under those conditions?

Hmmm... wouldn't you just be trapping the moisture then? I would think a rug would get as damp as the flagstones.

There are very nice looking all-weather rugs. Look into one of them, but don't skimp. You'll get what you pay for.

Could you recommend a brand? I'm thinking of a 4 X 6 ish rug that I can easily clean and shake out, that would act as a landing pad. I find the damp slate unpleasant to walk on. Of course, it would have to be mildew resistant.
