We are preparing to replace our kitchen cupboards after the new year. Right now, we have white cabinets and white beadboard wainscoting that runs from the kitchen through a back entry hallway and porch area, and which are all open to one another. We would love to use red-brown cabinets, but really don't want the trouble and expense of removing the wainscoting and having to redo the walls. Can anyone think of any options/alternatives? We are thinking that we could possibly simply paint the beadboard the same color as the walls (Benjamin Moore Summerdale Gold), but aren't sure that it will be enough to create a cohesive look. We recently have removed some walls so that our eating area and living room are visible from the kitchen....."red brown" tables, brown leather, Would love to hear your opinions and suggestions, and any pictures would be very appreciated.
