The wooden fence?

What kind of wood was used and how construrted. Would Hardie cement siding planks work just as well so that rot and maintenance would be eliminated? We also live in Southern Ca and would like to have the same fence built.

We also loved this fence but after much consideration of price/value we went with Timbertech. It was installed about 6 months ago (southern california) to replace a tall hedge. We just love the look of it and happy with price/value. Check it out.

We used FENCEMAX located in Escondido: fencemax@gmail. Or you can go on the Timbertech website and plug in your zip and they will give you a list of contractors in your area. As good as fencemax was it is suggested that you know exactly what design you want and other specs. Good Luck!

What was the approximate cost of the wooden fence shown in the photograph and how many square feet (or linear feet) is it?

Also, what is the cost per linear foot or square foot of Trex or Timbermax? Thanks.

Here's another option for horizontal fencing from Trex. You can't gap it, but it does have all of the benefits of being a composite. Find out more at trexfencing.com
