Thank you for asking ebie! The "beams" are actually collar ties that keep the gable roof form tied together. They are double 2x10's wrapped with 3/4" thick A & Better Cedar boards that have been mitred the full length of the collar tie to mimic a solid beam. The finish outside dimensions are 6" wide x 11.25" tall.
