I'd appreciate any assistance with area rug planning for the foyer I'll be furnishing in a couple of weeks. Distance from front door to great room is 16', but it's not a straight shot for a long rug. So I'm thinking a rectangular, square or round rug when you walk in, in the area noted by bold line (please disregard shaded area that denoted a change in ceiling plan). The area is approximately 11' deep x 9' wide if taking in to account some type of furnishing at the 90 degree stairway turn, off of the rug. What shape and size do you recommend? And should I add a smaller area rug, in addition, in the 5'x4' hallway space to the great room? THANK YOU
