Your lawn looks amazing! Why did you go with Specticle g over something like Prodiamine or Dimension which is cheaper and you get more for your money. Just curious is all.

I had a problem with goose grass witch is weed like crabgrass. It was very difficult to get rid of. Prodiamine and Dimension did not work for me. I even used a post emergent msma which only controled the weed after it showed up. Photo shows the effect of msma. Not a pretty site. Using specticle g eliminated all weeds. I applied it In mid March and again in begining of May. Than mid Sept. Than repeat the followin year..

I see your reasoning now and I probably would have done the same thing! when using a post emergent herbicide it is a good idea to mix some liquid iron into the mix and spray in the evening when temperatures are cool, it will help with the browning of the lawn.
