Cabinet material/color please?

What kind of wood is used for cabinets and color please? Thanks!

    Hi esack1,

    The cabinets were designed and constructed by kitchen designer Cary McLean of Designs for Living, Inc. Link to Cary's Houzz page: Cary McLean - Designs For Living

    The cabinets are constructed from red oak - it has a strong grain and that we wanted to express. Cary experimented with a thin paint to create the transparent look. The paint color is similar to Benjamin Moore Decorator white.

    The range is a conventional 30" width. We worked with Cary McClean of Design For Living on the kitchen design, cabinet and appliance layout and finishes. She has helped us with a number of our projects.
