I just bought an house and there is what I think is a Bradford Pear planted right next to my porch, I'm allergic so I'm needing to replace it. I was thinking of either a Tulip tree or a Crabapple. What would fill in the gap but will not get so large it damages the house or overrun the porch? I really want a variety of tree that has bright colored flowers, and looks well through all seasons. Preferably dark bark and bright foliage in the fall. Thanks!
