Shower tile question

We are remodeling a 5X8 bathroom and installing a 60"X32" walk-in shower using 12X24 porcelain tiles and sliding glass doors. Which way should tiles be installed: vertically or horizontally?

Really is a personal preference. There is no right or wrong way. The vertical tends to be a bit more contemporary. Lots of photos here on Houzz that you could look at and see which you tend to be drawn to. In either case, if you plan on a running bond pattern, you need to check the tile BEFORE installation to see how much it is cupped. Should use a 1/3 offset (or even 1/4) rather than a 1/2 offset to try to prevent lippage.
