    Thymus serpyllum Coccineus, Red Mother-of-Thyme

This is a hardy mat forming ground cover. In spring and mid summer it turns more of a redish purple than red. It likes good drainage and can take light foot traffic. It is great for pathways and between rocks.

    Isotoma fluviatilis, Blue Star Creeper

This is the other ground cover that looks like it is blooming white. This ground cover is also very low growing. It goes from green to a carpet of light blue flowers in spring and summer.
