Flowers on a beautiful Wednesday

The temperature and humidity are down today and the sky is blue. The mosquitoes are tolerable so we took a few pictures.

Misty Harbor is a club plant we are babysitting. It is blooming for the first time.

Wide Wide World has the most delicious color. It really doesn't do well for us--practically no increase in all the years we have had it. The fact that it is planted in the worst spot in the yard might have something to do with its vigor (or lack thereof).

We have never seen Piano Man's eye break up into bands before.

Keystone Fangs A Lot is doing well this year.

Oceans Eleven has been a blooming fool this summer. It was one of the first in bloom and it is still blooming.

Orange Splash is making a splash in the garden today.

Carrots Forever is another bright beacon in the garden.

Apache War Dance is just getting started. It is such a vigorous grower.

Coral Majority is an offspring of Apache War Dance and performs just as well.

Chomp X Happy Holidays to You caught Bob's eye today--just what he wants--an orange with teeth.

I love the orange seedling with the teeth! Oceans Eleven and Piano Man are very nice too!

I can tell that you are just slightly warmer than here, as your Apache War Dance and Coral Majority are a bit more advanced. I'm surprised that Wide Wide World has not multiplied for you. I have it in the hospital garden and have divided it a few times.

Piano Man is lovely! I really like Wide Wide World. It looks just like a noid I have that eveyone here tried to identify last summer. Mine looks just like yours and I agree the color is luscious.

Those clump shots of Coral Majority & Apache War Dance wow me! Your Wide Wide World reminds me of one I have, Brave World, I've always loved the unusual color, but it just doesn't bloom that much.

Piano Man is great with that big dark purple eye. I'm a fan myself of Coral Majority and didn't realize it was a child of Apache War Dance. I can see the resemblance though. Nice pictures............Maryl

Does Oceans Eleven really have a metallic-type cast in the eye on occassion? I can see a wee mirror-ish glint at about 5 o'clock.

I adore K. Fangs A Lot :) the name is so cute. Carrots Forever is a nice orange. It doesn't seem ro be as bright as some of them.
