Need help for my open space kitchen+dining room +living room.

There are different shades of grey from white, very light grey and dark grey. I've been thinking to lighten the darkest walls and to leave the others as they are. What do you think. I would like to add some character because now it's just some boring.

It's a corner apartment, there are four windows with natural light.
