On the sink - not a fan of any copper sink that has a "protective coating". These are usually applied to a sink that has been treated to look aged. They apply a clear coat to protect the aging and it is supposed to stay looking that way forever. Had the clear coat come off one within the first two weeks after installation...

On the hood, a real copper hood can be many thousands - if it is custom. A good faux finish artist can do one for a lot less, while adjusting the colors to suit your preference. This is one we did below several years ago.
