Jack and Jill Bathroom to 2 Bathrooms?

Hi Everyone! I need some advice, ideas, help, comments, suggestions.. you know the whole thing. I am thinking of converting a Jack and Jill (Hollywood) bathroom into 2 bathrooms. I have to add another tub and reconfigure the bathroom. I think if I need space I will take it from the master. What do you think? Bad idea? Good idea? How much do you think the remodel will be (I live in TX)? Keep in mind I have never done a remodel and am extremely afraid because it may go horrifically wrong. Any suggestions for contractors?

Get a designer ASAP they will help walk you through this process . You could do one with a tub and one with just a shower you will have many things to decide and also pricing is all over the map for bathroom renos so make sure you have a budget in mind before starting and share that with the designer.
