My husband and I want to replace this carpet. We have carpet in the bedrooms and this room. The carpet just isn't functional in the formal dining and living. We have tile in the rest of the house. Your suggestions would be welcome.
My idea -- possibly replace with a wood tile. I am not sure if this would looked mismatched.
Husbands idea -- replace entire thing with the same tile seen in photo attached. I'm afraid that would be boring
Third thought -- replace half the room with tile and place in new carpet. That's darker.
