I apologize in advance if this update is too early but my parents are moving too quick for me! They are relying on me for my design advice and I'm starting you "freeze" because I don't want them to be unhappy with the results, not that they would ever tell me.

Painting walls a light color to b determined
Configuration of room as is ( small drop leaf table on wall across from stove)
Stainless refrig will b purchased

Here is where I need help quickly! The flooring has me stumped. So much great advice from all houzz posters has led me to lvp. I think you're right, it's a great product for them! But what pattern? Wood look, too much wood with cabinets? Tile look? What color? Armstrong glue down with gout lines, no grout lines? Coretec? Please help as I'm seeing them tomorrow for a "shopping" trip . I'm really in over my head!
