Right now the floor tiles in my mom's bathroom is a little bit slippery. She fell last week so I want to make it less slippery. I have some rugs in there before the sink but they do not cover the whole bathroom floor. I want to cover the whole bathroom including the toilet area too.

Besides removing the tiles and put in another kind. Someone suggested workout mat or the mat for kids and put it in the bathroom and toilet. I don't want it to be too thick. I have carpet in the bedroom so the transition between carpet and tile, I want them to be on the same level as much as possible since i don't want my mom to trip on it.

What ideas do you suggest to best solve my problem?
