I like the black windows. They remind me of Joanna Gaines' recent redo of a barn. Check it out on magnoliamarket.com (season 3 - barn-dominium.) really dool makeover for a family home. I hope you installed some dwarf varieties and keep your border to low growing plants so they don't overgrow their welcome.

I can't help with the landscaping but....I love the contrast of the black windows and white brick, I wouldn't change the windows!

Save your $$$ on the windows! You're all set!

If it is your first year in the home, we’d recommend waiting a beat to decide what to plant where unless you have hired a landscape professional. This is because the light will change throughout the year, making it difficult to tell where to plant which plants based on their water and light needs. That being said, there are a few questions you can ask yourself before you make any big decisions or pick up a shovel, like: what is your budget? What is your timeline? How will you use the space (outdoor living, a vegetable garden, a flower garden, etc)? What style of landscape do you prefer? (We have some information on this to help narrow it down). And especially in a home with so much symmetry, how will you add variety and visual interest? Here are some ideas from one of our projects that has a similar style to your home:

The windows have short, low-growing boxwoods beneath them, symmetrical bushes lining the walkway, and garden beds rounded out on either side to smooth some of the symmetry.

You could consider adding pavers to make space for seating and planters, as shown here:
