I think they are a good choice. The greys will be perceived as separate from the existing patterns; they will be seen for themselves.

We like these pieces of art- they actually do a fine job of incorporating other colors which already exist in the space (i.e. the couch and the stonework). they are very interesting and work well in the space.

So they are not overwhelming with all the geometrical shapes everywhere? ( fireplace, rug, credanza, art on the back wall?"

I like the colors, but I felt they are taking away from the credanza!

I just added a different view
