I don't like dry herbicides because they waste so much herbicide. The weeds are usually localized and sometimes just individual weeds. Why cover the entire yard when spot spraying with a hose end sprayer would work?

For Creeping Charlie you'll need multiple applications of something like Weed-b-Gon Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer. With most plants headed for winter dormancy, spring might be a better time to do this.

Also you can also fine spray the creeping Charlie with 20 mule team borax. Mix 5oz in a gallon of water and put it in a bottle spray. Fine mist spot spray it. Then hit it with 2,4-d. Should kill most of it.

Boron is an essential micronutrient, but there is a sensitive threshold on how much a plant can take. If you go over the limit, you would essentially sterilize your soil and nothing but a few select weeds will grow. The best soil test to determine your boron levels is the $25 test from Logan Labs.

Have you tried a premergent? I spread a pre emergent in early spring and december..That takes care of any weeds I get in my bermuda lawn for the whole year..I use the lesco stuff from home depot..Its in a yellow bag and has yellow pellets.Works great and last along time.Its $20 for a 50 lb bag

I haven't because I can't find one that isn't a weed and feed. I was looking for just a pre emergent without the nutrient content. Anyways looks like that Lesco stuff is a weed and feed product.
