Thank you so much for your reply. I would love to use the same configuration... would you have a floor plan of this kitchen. How deep would the peninsula be?

I am currently doing a large extension, the kitchen/dining and living space is going to be open plan, the internal space available is 4.8m wide x 8m deep. Whats the best way to incorporate the same kitchen but also a have a dining table. I want to split the kitchen and living area half/half. The patio door to the garden can be narrow as possible.

Sorry but we don't have a floor plan, the peninsula is 1m deep with an overhang of approx 400mm
