Remodeling our family room. Put up a gray/beige stone fireplace & installing hardwood flooring(cherry). Adjacent bar has cherry cabinetry & grey/black granite with browns running through it. For our tv console we had the same Cherry cabinetry but are now putting the same granite on top. My question is do I leave the cherry base to match the bar or can I paint the tv console a grey color? I've attached pics of the fireplace in progress & the bar which is still in progress. Any input is appreciated. The tv console will go on a wall that is adjacent to the bar but can be considered a separate area as it is a step down family room. Thanks. Also--will be replacing the gold knobs!!!
