We are having a built-in desk and wall cabinets custom made for the kids' homework area (which is now a very messy play room!) A rough sketch (by me!) is shown. This "office" is on the main floor of our home with French doors. My home style is traditional, but slightly eclectic. Walls are Revere Pewter, trim is Builder's white, floors are darker stained cherry. The desk top will be laminate for durability. I'm looking for desk paint color suggestions (I was thinking white shades but am open to something a little different too) as well as laminate color suggestions. There are existing built in shelves on either side of the window on the adjacent wall as well which are the same builder's white (photo of very messy shelves!) Please excuse the mess.... I'm waiting for the desk install to organize. Thanks!
