Every other day the Neato robo-vac does a pass... and weekly we use a spray-mop with Fabuloso. No issues here in 5 months - always looks clean.

"Cleaners" or cleaning products are for "occasional" events...like 1-2 per MONTH. If you are routinely using the Bona cleaner 1/week (or more...shudder) then you are probably over cleaning. Bona has a long history of streaking or hazing when over used (too much product used at time of cleaning or used too many times per month/week).

I would also look to ensure you are using the cleaner and not the POLISH. Bona makes revitalizing polish-like product. Many, many times people have purchased the polish thinking it was a cleaner....and this gets ugly in a hurry.

I would look at working with water-only cleaning for the next 1-2 months to see if you can rinse off that haze. To test to see if I'm correct, you can use a small amount of rubbing alcohol (like on a cotton ball in a well ventilated area) over a small area (like 2" x 2") to see if you can chemically/mechanically remove the haze.

The next question I have: how often do you use the Bona, in what concentration and what is the method of application? All of these questions need to be answered for us to figure where things went wrong. Once we know where the issue lies, we can help correct the method of cleaning.

I use Bona cleaner spray, one or two times a week. The one I use says stone, tile & laminate floor cleaner. It just says to mist the floor and clean and rinse the mop head often. Thanks for all advice.

Use vinegar and water. If the haze is being a stinker...use more vinegar.
