Some species only bloom during certain times of the year. If you have had the plant for less than a year, it could still be adjusting to your conditions, and could have also had it's blooming season for the year.

If you have had it more than a year, it could be a cross of species that just don't bloom consistently, or perhaps it's a cross of species that bloom in response to natural seasonal changes, such as warming up in the spring or cooling down in the fall.

Making sure your plants have enough energy stores to bloom is also crucial. Make sure you are giving enough nutrition, light, and water as needed kwhich it looks like you are doing.

Also, check the root system...perhaps the plant has outgrown it's pot. While you check the root system, check the potting media. If it seems old, broken down/decomposed, or no longer as fresh as it should be, chage it.

If all that fails, you might be able to induce blooming by slightly stressing the plant. It seems it is putting a lot of energy into growing. Maybe cut back on feedings (either feed less frequently, or feed at lower concentrations), just to see if the plant actually decides to stop growing.

Perhaps withold waterings as well; not to the point of super obvoius stress, maybe just to the point of the leaves looking a tiny bit wrinkled. DO NOT do this with water loving species, though, as they can decline rapidly, if they don't receive enough water.

I am unsure whether cutting the very tips of new growth off would work to induce blooming; I have had mixed results. Some don't care and will just make new growth nodes to replace the cut ones. Others will sulk, but not bloom. Still, some will form buds within a few months of clip-back.

It is also very possible that you missed very early bud development. I know you say there is no possible way, but buds just emerging are easy to miss. If the plant aborts them just as they are forming, it is very possible to not know about it.

The younger peduncles may take up to a year to mature enough to bloom.
