One of the things we love about our line of work is that we can make a big impact not only to the interior of a house, but also the exterior. The brief from our client was to design and create a bespoke garden gate that is hard-wearing but simple. At the same time, they wanted it to be a feature of their garden. We instantly thought that European Prime Grade Oak was the way to go. European Oak is not only a durable hard wood suitable for external use, but it also has a beautiful grain structure.

We finished this item by coating it in a clear satin UV Osmo Oil, which gives it a smooth finish and emphasises the oak grain.
