if you have the actual sample, take it with you to the paint store and look at some of their softer whites. something on the creamy end.

those tiles do nothing for that counter and are way too blue/cool. I would hold off on those until after this counter is installed

Tile is a definite, no changing that, I like the cool look together.

I like the OpalPacific, Night Sky and Verde, and the Blue Fog and Patina on the matte colors. beautiful.

Get a sample of Cloud White and see if that works on your cabinets and your own lighting, w/the counter sample.

Whites are very tricky with quartz that you are planning. SW Rhinestone is an offwhite with blue undertones. With your backsplash tile, a white with blue could be great. But, as Beth wisely suggested take tile to paint store. Get 4-5 samples. Do sample boards because the colors you are using with that strong flooring (take sample of that floor tile too) will be challenging.

The Heath ceramics website has info about their sizes and prices. I believe it tends to run around $30 a square foot, though you can also get them from their overstock warehouse in Marin for $16 a square foot or seven dollars a square foot for factory seconds I believe. the website will have all that info. My tile is subway — 3 x 6 and it’s already been purchased so I’m not really looking for backsplash input — just trying to figure out the best kind of white that won’t make the countertop look dingy in comparison.
