We are finishing up our remodeling project and I need some advice -

Should I do panels and bamboo roman shades?
or
just panels?
or
just roman shades?
and
If I do go with shades, do I install the shades inside the windows?
or
above the windows?

Pic 2: Den facing side of the house. In the photo with the windows behind the sofa - would you treat that as one window or two windows? If I go with roman shades, do I do 2 shades and one set of panels going across or 2 shades and a set of panels for each window?

Pic 3: Diningroom facing front of the house. What should do I do with these cute but odd windows? Do I do one roman shade and one set of panels?
