What kind of blue bird???

This little guy flew into a window this morning and didn't make it. I've never seen anything like this in the wild before. The pictures are dark. The bird is a more vibrant blue with turquoise/teal depending on the light. Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? The area is Houston.

I agree with above. Male Indigo Bunting. I love seeing them at the feeder, especially with gold finches....they remind me of blue and yellow Easter eggs. Poor little guy.. : (
